Today saw the launch of Troop 50's first Eagle Project with a second one scheduled for tomorrow. Senior Patrol Leader Jake led a group of scouts and leaders to build three wooden lockers that will eventually be installed at the Auburn Tennis Courts across from Auburn High School. The project will include the construction of seventeen lockers total. Although much of the talk concerned tonight's AHS Prom, scouts planed, sanded, nailed, drilled, screwed, and re-sanded with enough enthusiasm to re-define the very nature of carpentry. It is hoped that tomorrow's project workday for Jeffery is as successful as Jake's. More photos from Jake's project may be found in the online photo album.
