Leadership makes annual 'state-of-the-troop' report to Auburn Rotary

Baird and Tullier with Club President Jim McLaughlin
On March 19, Scoutmaster Andrew Baird and Chartered Organization Representative Michael Tullier visited with the Auburn Rotary Club and made its annual "state-of-the-troop" report. The presentation has become an annual practice after starting the tradition with its first state-of-the-troop report last March.

The Rotary Club charters (or sponsors) Troop 50, and Michael is a member of the club. In addition to offering an general overview of Scouting, the pair summarized troop organization, recent troop activities, and ways Rotarians could be involved as volunteer merit badge counselors, Eagle Scout mentors, and assistant scoutmasters or troop committee members.

Thanks to troop committee members and troop parents Jim Perry (who is also an Auburn Rotarian), Jill Perry, and Bob Harris for representing Troop 50 through their attendance. View the state-of-the-troop presentation below.
