An Eagle has Landed

Troop 50 now has its first Eagle Scout. Jeffery Geiger passed his Eagle Board of Review in July and is looking toward his Eagle Court of Honor. Jeffery joins more than two million scouts who have earned the Eagle rank since the award was introduced in 1912. His accomplishment puts him in a small statistical group, however. Only two out of every one hundred scouts makes it to Eagle. We take pride in the fact that he is the first in our new troop. But, he will not be the only Eagle for long. Two more scouts have finished their requirements and will be heading before the Eagle Board in the near future. Congratulations to Jeffery for his accomplishment. Check out the new Eagles' Nest page on the troop website. We expect that Jeffery's name will be the first in a long list to come.
