My name is Ethan and I hold the position of assistant senior patrol leader in Troop 50. I have had five and a half years of previous experience in Scouting. I am 14 years old and have been through National Youth Leadership Training and have served as ASPL for two terms in my previous troop. Outside of Scouting I love to hunt, fish, and hang out with my friends. One of the great things about Scouting is that I get to hang out with my friends and have a good time.
The assistant senior patrol leader is the second highest-ranking youth leader in the troop. The assistant senior patrol leader acts as the senior patrol leader in the absence of the senior patrol leader or when called upon. He also provides leadership to other youth leaders in the troop. He is appointed by the senior patrol leader under the guidance of the scoutmaster.
